Strategic Planning - Contribute to the development and implementation of local workforce development strategies.
Policy Development - Help shape policies that align with the workforce needs of the community and businesses.
Oversight - Provide oversight of local workforce development programs and initiatives.
Partnership Building - Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, education providers, and community organizations to enhance workforce development efforts.
Identify Pathways and Partnerships - Assist in identifying career pathways and sector partnerships for workforce development.
Community Engagement - Engage with the employers and the community to raise awareness of workforce development opportunities and initiatives.
The following Task Forces focus on accomplishing tasks that align with common goals outlined in the CRWC Strategic Priorities:
- Partnerships Taskforce: Empower tomorrow's workforce by leveraging resources through transformational partnerships.
- Career Pathways Taskforce: Build access to self-sufficiency and fulfilling careers for Coloradans.
- Communication & Data Taskforce: Use data driven approach to create clear & consistent messaging to promote initiatives related to the audience.
- Youth/Young Adult Taskforce: Strategize ways to prepare and promote workforce development opportunities to youth/young adults in rural Colorado.
